We are pleased to announce the launch of a new regulated qualification – FAA Level 3 Award in Forestry First Aid. This is a 2-hour bolt-on course, which can be run in conjunction with either an EFAW course or an FAW course.
This qualification is regulated in the UK and awarded by First Aid Awards. FAA are an Awarding Organisation regulated by Ofqual and the qualification sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
The FAA Forestry First Aid qualification is designed to accompany a First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work qualification and meets the requirements of the Forestry Commission First Aid at Work Policy.
We are pleased to announce the launch of a new regulated suite of qualifications dealing with Mental Health, these include:
- FAA Level 1 Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health
- FAA Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health
- FAA Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health
The Level 1 & 2 courses are suitable for everyone but have been designed to help employers to provide a positive mental health culture within the workplace and to provide learners with comprehensive knowledge on a range of the most common mental health conditions and the skills to be able to act should a condition be suspected.
The Level 3 course is suitable for all persons within a workplace but is aimed at those who hold a supervisory or managerial level position and who have responsibility for implementing a positive mental health culture and responsibility for First Aid for Mental Health within an organisation.
