WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS TRAINING?

This qualification is for Learners who are aspiring to or are presently working at a supervisory/management level and wish to enhance their health and safety knowledge.

COURSE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:

The objective of the qualification is to benefit Learners through developing more advanced health and safety knowledge. It covers understanding the requirements for health, safety and welfare in the workplace and legal requirements, understanding of: the requirements of health, safety and welfare; the benefits of a health and safety management system; the risks and control methods for common workplace hazards; understanding the principles of risk assessment, understanding the risks and control methods for common workplace hazards and how to manage the effects of accidents and ill health.

COURSE CONTENT:

1.    Understand the requirements for health, safety and welfare in the workplace

2.    Understand the benefits of using a safety management system

3.    Understand the principles of risk assessment

4.    Understand the risks and control methods for common workplace hazards

5.    Understand how to manage the effects of accidents and incidents

ASSESSMENT:

Formative assessments – a range of informal assessment procedures employed by the Trainer/Assessor during the learning process to measure each Learner’s knowledge, skills and understanding.

Theory assessment/multiple choice question papers – Multiple Choice Question Paper.

TRAINING VENUE:

We come to you to deliver our training on site or in your office.
